  Introduction

1. Created by DENSO WAVE.

2. QR codes were first created back in 1994.

3. A QR code is a two-dimensional square consisting of a mixture of white and black.

4. QR codes save URLs containing text, websites, and information on servers.

5. QR code saves 7089 digits. ( Bar codes store up to 20 digits of information.)

6. The government of India has launched the' Bharat QR Code'.

7. The India QR Code has been prepared by the National Payment Corporation of India Visa MasterCard and American Express as per RBI instruction.

➧ VVPAT 

    Full name - Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail

  Introduction

1. VVPAT is an independent verification printer machine.

2. This machine which is associated with EVM facilitates the voter to verify whether he/she has got his/her vote to the right candidate.

3. When a voter presses a button on an EVM machine, a piece of paper is printed by VVPAT.

4. This paper contains the election symbol and the name of the candidate, by which the candidate can check the eligibility of his vote.

5. The voter cannot get back the paper printed by VVPAT. He can only see the print that appears in the glass cover for seven(7) seconds. It is then automatically deposited in a box and a symbolic sound(Deep) is heard.

6. Only polling officials will be able to reach the VVPAT machine.

7. Of particular note is that voters cannot take home the VVPAT printed paper afterward.
